Fifth Grade Math Overview

Fifth grade math continues to build on number sense and algorithm development. We work with students to become comfortable with numbers, facts, and solving problems using a variety of methods.

At times math looks different from how it may have been taught when parents were in school, but the end result is the same. Our goal is for students to understand the concepts behind each standard algorithm, while also being able to solve problems with accuracy.
