April 16th and April 17th are student-led conference days. In order for the district to be able to count these conference days as school days to satisfy the state requirements, these are now considered asynchronous learning days. Here are some things for your child to work on during these days.
Read the new novel that you selected for your last novel presentation.

Here are some things to do if school is cancelled due to a snow day:
Read something worthwhile for 30-60 minutes.
Compare and contrast how plants and animals adapt to their environment in the summer compared to the winter. You can write a paragraph or create and complete a Venn Diagram.
Practice math facts (flashcards, making up problems on a blank sheet of paper,.)
Write a story where your main character is in a winter environment. Create a unique adventure.
Study current vocabulary and/or spelling words.

Any work that needs to be completed in Google Classroom.
iReady My Path lessons for reading or math
Take a picture of yourself in the snow.
