Getting To Know The Teacher!
My name is Mrs. Leon. You may notice that my email APS email is "dooley_s@aps" and under my previous last name. I wanted to clarify that this is still my correct email address. I know that may be a bit confusing.
I graduated from UNM with a degree in Education K-8th and I am a proud Lobo fan. I have been teaching for over 20 years and have experience teaching grades K-4th. I absolutely love teaching and I am looking forward to getting to know you and learn a lot of fun, exciting new things this school year.
I am a New Mexico native and I love NM sunsets, the Sandia mountains and green chili. My husband and I share five children together, three boys and two girls. They are now adults and have adventured out on their own, so our two wonderful doggies are the only fur babies we have residing with us currently. As a family we enjoy getting together for BBQ's and game nights when possible.
My Fur Baby - Jojo
Jojo is 14 years old and is my cuddle bear. He loves to play fetch with a tennis ball.

Dash is 13 years old and full of happy energy every day. He loves to play fetch with his small squeaky squirrel toys.
