About Me:
This is my 15th year teaching and my fifth year at Hubert Humphrey. I have had the privilege of teaching grades 1st-6th grade. Although my Master's degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in reading, I love teaching all subjects. It is my job to motivate your child reach their highest potential.

My name is Kiersten Rockett, most of you will come to know me as Ms. Rockett. I am currently a student at the University of New Mexico pursuing my bachelor's in Elementary Education. I was born and raised here in Albuquerque, I am a proud New Mexican! I am passionate about teaching, hot yoga, and my dog! I come from a long line of educators and cannot wait to grow with all of you this school year as I complete my final year of student teaching with Mrs. Nunn! Even from a distance, I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you and making this year the most memorable!
