You can help your child be successful by practicing as much as possible, helping them to create or come up with their own visual, and to make mistakes. Yes! Mistakes are part of the process. Thank you in advance for your encouragement with your child! You are their biggest cheerleader
This year, we are going to be working on a series of presentations. This is a skill that can never be started too early! The students are going to be expected to work on the “4 P’s” of presenting when they speak. They will come home with a comment sheet after each presentation highlighting their presentation.
The “4 P’s” we are going to focus on are:
presentation is well practiced; knows the material; has introduction, facts, conclusion, and visual.
eye contact faces audience, serious, standing appropriately.
speaks in complete sentences, loud and clear voice level, good pacing.
attentive listening towards presenters, sitting quietly while speaker is speaking, clapping appropriately.
