We offer two types of intervention for students at Hoover Middle School to support student in academic growth.
School-wide Intervention/Enrichment
All students participate in AT LEAST 30 minutes of an online math intervention program and 30 minutes of an online reading intervention program each week. Students who are above grade level may receive enrichment during this time at the discretion of their ELA and Math teacher.
Targeted Interventions
These classes are intended for students who are below grade level in math or reading. Students are identified by test scores, classroom performance and teacher recommendation. Students who are below grade level an would benefit will be placed into this class in place of one elective. The student will still be allowed to schedule one elective of their choice.
