Deadline for Submissions: March 27, 2026 Notification of Acceptance: Week of April 13th
You don’t need to be a "professional speaker" to apply—you just need a strategy that works and a desire to help your colleagues succeed. We can’t wait to see the amazing ideas you bring to the table!
Professional Growth: Enhance your resume and build your leadership profile.
District Impact: Help shape the instructional practices used across our community.
Recognition: Earn an APS District Presenter Badge that is great Domain 4 evidence and the chance to support your colleagues across the district.
We are looking for a variety of sessions to fit every comfort level and topic:
Poster Sessions: Best for a "quick win" or visual project. Chat with peers in a relaxed, open-house setting. This is a 25 min session where participants gallery walk.
Workshop Sessions: Lead a "make-and-take" where teachers leave with a ready-to-use resource. Use the 80-20 rule: 20% time for new learning to 80% application and practice time.
Collaborative Learning: Facilitate a group discussion or brainstorm around a shared challenge. You can share your story working through a challenge to inspire participants.
Presentation Sessions: Deliver a polished, 50-minute talk with visuals (slide deck, video, etc) on a specific strategy or initiative. Include engaging session design and share resources about your topic.
Strategy Rotation Session: Share an 8-10 minute talk/presentation about a specific strategy you’ve implemented that could benefit others. Think quick wins that are easily applied!
