Have you ever wanted to help others but didn’t have the courage or maybe tools necessary to? Well, Khalil Panteah is a Junior at Cesar Chavez Charter and is a great person who has inspired me to improve and help others. He has recently made a few donations of canned food to homeless shelters in order to help those in need in these trying times. He is an inspiration to many for being able to do such good things at such a young age.
He has done good deeds at a young age, showing anyone who sets their mind to it can do good, as long as they have it in their hearts. This is further proven when you take his hobbies into consideration, he enjoys playing video games, watching tv and being on social media just like everyone else, yet he’s been able to do good deeds. He doesn’t have any plans for the future but has the goal to keep on helping those in need, and to inspire others to keep on doing good deeds even when you think you can’t.
When asked why he did it he said “I’ve just seen videos and movies about people who are homeless and are in need and it makes me feel bad, knowing that I don’t have to worry about having a roof under my head and food at the table while others constantly have to. One day I just saw a video but this time instead of sitting around doing nothing, I decided to go out and do what I can.”
When asked if he thinks everyone should try and help at least once in their lifetime he said “For sure, I think everyone should give it a go, it’ll make them all feel good about themselves and feel accomplished.”
Now, after hearing all this I bet you’re inspired to also help out those in need. You might choose to take the route Khalil did and donate food. In conclusion, Khalil is a great inspiration and everyone should take in his footsteps even if it is just once.
