This assignment was designed to analyze and depict Red Bulls current marketing efforts in order to understand the company, its goals and objectives, and how they can achieve those through their marketing strategy as they continue to develop their overall brand image. The report starts with a research and analysis of the company's values and history. It then breaks down Red Bulls target market, market segmentation, and the buyer persona's that create Red Bull's desired audience. An audit of Red Bulls current marketing efforts and an analysis of their digital marketing strategy with analytics was conducted. The report concludes with recommendations of how Red Bulls marketing efforts could improve to increase attention/awareness, profit margin, consumer retention with rising competition and overall competitive advantage within the energy drink industry. As I was conducting this report, I researched different competitors and analyzed how they are marketing in comparison to Red Bull. This was important as it broaden my view of digital and traditional marketing tactics which aided in my recommendations of how Red Bull could compete effectively within the market.
HOS3100 - Sustainable Tourism
This semester long project is about the United Nations 2030 agenda for sustainable development, specifically the Sustainable Development Goal number two, Zero Hunger. The report focuses on Zero Hunger's relation to the Boone area including Watauga, Catawba, and Caldwell County, how it correlates with other sustainable development goals, stakeholders within Watauga County, tourisms impact on Zero Hunger, and ideas/recommendations to help achieve this sustainable development goal. I started this report by conducting research on the 2030 agenda for sustainable development and SDG number two. The most prevalent aspect of reducing hunger is food insecurity. After doing extensive research I was able to recover analytics from 2018 and 2021 relating to food insecurity within Watauga, Catawba, and Caldwell County. These analytics were the food insecurity rate, estimated program eligibility for Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP), annual food budget shortfall, and the average meal cost. Information of this stature led me to government reports and other government lead organizational websites. Based on my findings I was able to determine multiple factors that cause food insecurity, which led to a multitude of stakeholders that could help our community members achieve access to affordable, nutritious, and sufficient food. The presentation is a condensed version of the report that is easily digestible for the viewer.
