My name is Lainie Baumgardner, and I am a college graduate of Appalachian State University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Digital Marketing. Now that I've graduated, I plan on pursuing a career within marketing or corresponding business-related fields. I have an extreme interest in marketing management and analytics, as I've obtained a few different certifications within these realms of marketing. I have gained experience within the field of marketing through App State by working with real world business's, large and small, to create different marketing strategies and campaigns. My personal skillset is diverse as I am a strong communicator, collaborator, and organized individual.

I prioritize active listening and expressing thoughts where every voice is valued and heard. Through open dialogue I encourage understanding and the prevention of misunderstandings in the workplace. Honesty is essential in every aspect of a work environment for building trust not only with leaders and managers, but also with team members. This ensures that, collectively as a team, we can achieve our goals for the company. I aim to treat others with empathy and respect in order to foster a positive working environment where everyone can succeed. I also strive to create a balance of personal fulfillment and wellbeing in addition to professional success. By staying true to these principles, I can contribute to a positive, ethical, and balanced work culture.
