I am a Professor of Geography and the Graduate Program Director in the Department of Geography and Planning at Appalachian State University, located in Boone, North Carolina, in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. As a broadly trained Physical Geographer my interests are in fluvial and coastal geomorphology, hydrology, and field applications of geospatial technologies.
