The Spanish school is located in Madrid, the Spanish capital city. The school is located in the neighbourhood of Chamberí, in the area known as Metropolitano, next to the Complutense University Campus. The building that houses the school was built in the 40's for educational purposes, although not strictly speaking as a Secondary School. Its structure has some space limitations that have required adaptation and refurbishment to meet the teaching needs, for example, enabling the old chapel as an assembly hall, using part of the rooms in the basement for Teaching Departments, etc. However, being an old building, it maintains a peculiar aesthetic: polished floors in the entrance and corridors, glass lamps, etc. It is surrounded by gardens and a sports court.

Environment

Globally, Spain currently ranks 12th in the Environmental Performance index, with a score of 78.39. It ranked number one in water and sanitation, and scored highly in areas such as air quality and environmental health. In the climate and energy arena, it has a score of 67.77 and ranked 23rd.

Technology

Spain's technology sectors have made dramatic advances in recent decades. In personalised medicine and electronic health records, in desalination, in renewable energy, and in many other areas, Spanish companies have built some experience at home that they have taken overseas with great success.

Teachers and students from Denmark and Turkey arrived at the Barajas airport on a rainy weekend. Spanish teachers, students and their families were waiting for them. A very busy week was about to start.
