Guided Effort Mentor Support / Study Skills
This class offers a relationship-centered approach to building a positive school climate and supporting student behavior. It emphasizes belonging over exclusion, social engagement over control, and meaningful accountability over punishment. Through this class, students develop essential social-emotional skills, including self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
In addition, the course offers direct instruction and practice in study skills, executive functioning, organization, time management, and strategies for independent learning, helping students become more confident and successful learners.
