1st Grade

First graders read "The Most Magnificent Team" in STEM class and learned how important it is to work together. They worked in small groups to create a pet playground by sharing ideas, planning, building, testing, and making changes when needed. They practiced teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, listening, and not giving up when something was tricky.

First grade students combined literacy, problem-solving, and coding skills during a fun STEM challenge! After reading The Biggest Pumpkin, students were introduced to the Sphero Indi coding cars.
