Throughout the year, your students and I will learn together through a variety of hands-on activities. These will include design thinking and the Engineering Design Process, computer science and coding, digital citizenship, and technology skills.

Meet the Teacher
Hello! My name is Jessica Huelsman, and I am excited to be teaching STEM/Innovative Technology at St. Henry Elementary School.
As a proud graduate of St. Henry High School, I am especially grateful for the opportunity to teach in the community that helped shape me. After high school, I attended Ball State University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in education. I later continued my education through the Ohio Writing Project at Miami University, where I earned my master's degree.
My teaching career began at Versailles Elementary School, where I taught for three years. I then joined the staff at St. Henry Elementary, where I had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten for the past thirteen years. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed helping students grow academically, creatively, and socially, and I am excited to bring those experiences into our STEM classroom.
I live in St. Henry with my husband, Andrew, and our three children. Being both a teacher and a parent in this community makes this role especially meaningful to me.
I am looking forward to building, creating, exploring, and problem-solving with your students this year. My goal is to provide a welcoming, engaging, and hands-on learning environment where every child is encouraged to think creatively, take risks, and discover the excitement of STEM.
