No, we only teach band instruments
How do I tryout an instrument?
We will try out ALL of the instruments in the first two weeks of school
You will make your instrument choice with the guidance of one of the band directors
How do I get an instrument once I have selected which one I will study?
There are 4 kinds of instruments in band
Rent-to-Own: You rent an instrument from one of our local music vendors and make regular monthly payments until the instrument is paid off. These contracts can be canceled at anytime and come with warrantees.
Purchased: Your family buys the instrument in full all at once. Many quality instruments are available at a reasonable price, but please check with a band director and consult our required instruments/accessories list to make sure you are getting the correct items.
Some families may already own a trombone or clarinet and we would love to check it out to see if needs repairs or maintenance to be in playable condition
School-owned Instruments: these are limited based on our inventory and availability. All school-owned instruments have a $50/school year fee and have additional required accessories that must be purchased separately.
When will I need to have my instrument and accessories?
Beginner Band students will need their instruments no later than the week of Labor Day in September or may be removed from our elective and placed into another class as available
