Prerequisite: None

This course is intended for the beginning German language student. Students learn to speak, read, write, and comprehend basic standard German. Basic vocabulary and grammatical structure help the student to understand the German language and culture. Current events and culture are emphasized throughout the year, with discussions in both English and German. A proficiency exam will be given at the end of the course. We will be using the Komm Mit textbook and any edition after 2005 is just fine!
