Instruments

Fifth grade band consists of four wind instruments, two woodwinds (flute, clarinet), and two brass (trumpet, trombone). Each band student will get to choose one instrument to commit to and learn for the whole year. As students continue band into middle and high school, they will have opportunities to add or switch instruments, creating more diversity to the group. Easiest instrument switches/add-ons will be included below the instrument.
