about your teacher
Hello! I'm Mrs. KP and I am excited for our journey together this year. This is my fifth year at Westhill Elementary and my tenth year in the Northshore School District. Prior to being at Westhill I taught at Cottage Lake Elementary. I also spent a year doing outdoor education in Southern California.
I love to be active and travel. These passions merged with teaching in 2018 when I had the opportunity to go to Finland through the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching to conduct a research project about movement and learning.I try to bring movement to our class to enhance learning. Your child will likely learn lots of songs, chants, and hand motions to learn concepts too. Check out the link below if you are interested in my journey abroad.
