After I graduated from Inglemoor High School (yes, you read that right!), I moved across the country to attend New York University and play soccer. I spent my freshman year at NYU, but I received my degree in Spanish from the University of Washington. I also spent a semester abroad in Sevilla, Spain. I completed my Masters in Teaching at Western Washington University where I enjoyed living in beautiful Bellingham. When I'm not teaching, I love to spend time with my family & friends. I love most everything outdoors, especially hiking and running. Traveling is a huge passion of mine. Spain, Guatemala, Thailand, Morocco, Greece & New Mexico are a few of my highlights.
I absolutely love teaching Spanish & feel lucky to do this as my job (I started teaching at IHS in 2010). Getting my students excited about Spanish-speaking cultures, the music and the language itself is nothing short of awesome. I'm looking forward to a fun & enriching year with you!
