Eric Yuan
袁征是个很成功的企业家。他1970年2月20日出生。他是在山东泰安出生和长大的。他的爸爸妈妈都是地质工程师。袁征在山东科技大学读书，他得了计算机应用学位和应用数学学位。他也去了中国矿业大学；在那里得了地质工程学位。
Eric Yuan is a successful entrepreneur. He was born on February 20, 1970. He grew up in Tai'an, in the Shandong province of China. His parents are both geology engineers. Yuan went to college at the Shandong University of Science and Technology, where he earned degrees in computer application and applied mathematics. Yuan also went to college in the China University of Mining and Technology, where he earned a degree in geology engineering.
大学毕业以后，袁征在北京住了一段时间。他1997 年搬到美国硅谷。他曾在 WebEx 和 Cisco Systems 工作。在2011年，他离开原来的工作，创办了一家新公司，Zoom。他现在和他的家人住在加州。
After college, Yuan lived in Beijing for a while. He moved to Silicon Valley, United States in 1997. Yuan previously worked at WebEx and Cisco Systems. In 2011, he left his old job to start a new company: Zoom. He now lives with his family in California.

Since we are currently in a pandemic, many people have started using remote communication tools. Many students and companies use Zoom to communicate. Students frequently use Zoom to go to class or talk with their teacher. I really like Zoom because of how convenient it is. You can talk with people through audio or video. Zoom's "share screen" function is also extremely helpful.
I.M. Pei
贝聿铭是一个很有名的建筑师。他1917年6月26号出生在广州，在上海长大。他过世于2019年，102岁。他的父亲筹组(chou zu)中国银行，带领全家来到广州，任职广州中国银行行长。
后来，1927年他的父亲出任中国银行上海分行经理，一家人就搬到上海。1935年，18岁的贝聿铭来到美国，先在宾州大学攻读建筑，后来转往麻省理工学院，1946年取得哈弗大学建筑学硕士学位，1954年成为美国公民。
在1955年，他成立自己的公司。
I.M. Pei was a famous architect. He was born on June 6th, 1917 in Guangzhou. He died in 2019 at 102 years old.
His father worked at the Bank of China, and his family lived in Guangzhou, before moving to Shanghai. Pei moved to the US in 1935, going to the University of Pennsylvania and MIT, later joining the Harvard School of Design. He became an American citizen in 1954 and established an independent design firm in 1955.
他著名的作品是全国大气研究中心在科罗拉多州，他后来成为约翰-肯尼迪图书馆和博物馆的首席建筑师。他最有名的设计作品是巴黎卢浮宫的玻璃金字塔和香港中国银行大厦。
他一生得到很多的奖项和荣誉，其中包括在1983年普利兹克奖。
His first notable achievement is the Mesa Laboratory at the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, and later became the chief architect for the John F, Kennedy Library and Museum.
Pei is famous for designing the Glass Pyramid outside the Louvre museum in Paris, and also for the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong. He has won many prizes, including the Pritzker Prize in 1983, which is sometimes compared to the Nobel prize, but for architecture.
