What is EUA Shakespeare? The English Speaking Union (ESU) National Shakespeare Competition is a high school program giving high school students an opportunity and preform songs and monologues to a panel of judges. There are several branches to the competition, starting at the classrooms, to branch competitions, to finally, the national competition hosted in New York City.
Prizes: High placers at the branch level have a chance to receive prize money, and winners at the national level get to attend the British American Drama Academy Mid-Summer Conservatory Program! In addition, anyone who makes it to the national level get tickets to see a Broadway show.
