ITF SCORES
Last year, we had 15 thespians qualify for for ITF for an array of preforming and technical categories, and 9 who attended ITF to showcase their preformances and 1 who attended college auditons! Congratulations to our International Thespian Festival qualifiers, Alaya Steward, Allie Beeman, Ari Walker, August Biestek, Ayaan Kohli, Bronwyn Sprunger, Ellen Lowe, Kaiser Gollon, Leo Woods, Liam Harold Rufo, Luke Zeng, Maya Timmerman, Nathan Reed, Rosa Olson, and Sienna Evans! AND! Congrats to our 3 superior scoring students at ITF, Anna Marroquin, June Booker, and Ayaan Kohli!
What is ITF? ITF (International Thespian Festival) is a week long festival where US and Canadian school theater troupes who qualified during Thespys and State are invited to attend a series of professional workshops, preform their schools shows, and showcase their individual talents!
While Inglemoor Theatre Company has qualified for ITF every year for the past 9 years, yet due to the high cost of attending ITF, we have not participated in the festival every year. We were ablw to attend last year, and our mission is to try and continue that streak. If you or your child is interested in ITF, please connect with our director at eblackburn@nsd.org.
*Note that due to high costs, we are limiting attendance to only those who qualified for ITF.
Workshops: The workshops presented at ITF are taught by national clinicians, college professors, local theatre educators, and working professionals. Performance workshops include acting, dance, singing, auditioning tips, dialects, stage combat and much more! Technical theatre workshops include costume, hair & makeup, lighting, sound design, stage managing, rigging, scenic/lighting design, writing, and much more!
College Auditions: Seniors have the option to meet with recruiters from college and university theatre programs from across the country to interview and audition for admission and for scholarships. Note that to sign up for auditions, an extra fee is placed upon your ITF attendance fee.
Cost of Attendence: Inglemoor Theatre Company aknoledges that attandence costs for the International Thespian Festival is qite high, and we want to be able to support our students as much as we can to give them the oppurtunity to attend.
Many of Inglemoor Theatre Comapny's fundraisers are used to riase funds for the ITF trip, in order to help relieve some of the cost of attandence. If possible, make sure to go support our fundraisers to make this mission possible!
For the 2026 International THespian Festival, our current cost estimate is ~$2,000.
If you are part of housebill 1660, your trip will be fully covered by club funds.
