Once the semester has begun you'll use Canvas, but until then, here's some information about the class.
If you're enrolled in sections 10378 (T/Th 9am) or 10224 (T/Th 10:30 am), we're meeting in person.
You can find the syllabus at Geog 300 syllabus
Each week you'll have reading assignments, videos to watch, a discussion post, and quizzes to take. Exams are online.
The course textbook is Geosystems Core. Buy, rent, find a PDF on the internet somewhere. Do whatever is cheapest. There's only one edition, and it's the least expensive physical geography text out there. I'll put the first two chapters on Canvas so you don't need to stress about getting the textbook before your financial aid comes in.
Your first assignment is due January 17th.
If you have not used Canvas, the district's learning management software, I highly recommend signing up for the tutorial self-paced class. While you won't be able to access THIS class in Canvas until Saturday August 20th, you can get started on the tutorial class NOW: https://lrccd.instructure.com/enroll/LY89B6
