Welcome to my Literacy Portfolio for English 300!
The purpose of this Literacy Portfolio is to showcase my journey in reading and writing throughout this past semester. I will be highlighting each assignment I was tasked to with a brief description of what it's about and how I chose to navigate its challenges. These are located in the sidebar at the top left-hand side of this page, each labeled under what type of assignment it is, from Literacy to Course Final. Each of these pieces of writing represent a step in my literacy journey and portray different skills we were aiming to hone such as developing academic literacy, composing effective college-level essays, and critically analyzing various complex works.Â
From the beginning of this course, I was challenged in how I think about writing and what it means to be good at writing, till the end where I put all these practices I 've learned into use in my writing and while you read each of my assignments you will see the ways in which I struggled and exceled.
Ultimately, I hope this portfolio captures the ways I was able to grow as a writer but also provides a glimpse into the learning process that shaped it. Thank you for taking the time to explore my work!
