Does gender play a role when choosing certain auto body types?

A friend of mine said she would never own a truck. While another said Porsche is for girls! The other told me to stay away from vans!

While doing some car shopping I was browsing tons of makes and models. I ran into a problem and couldn't picture myself driving certain vehicle body types! Certainly, I imagine that others feel the same way.

When it comes to certain auto body types. I for one love driving sports and sedans. While some may prefer trucks or hatch backs.

Null: There is NO association between gender and auto body type preference.
Alternative: There is an association between gender and auto body type preference.

From this data we can analyze and say that no women prefer trucks with the majority leaning towards sedans and less for hatch backs.

Men had more preference towards trucks when compared.

This module was quite the challenge as I was exposed to new materials and methods to test my hypothesis and ideas. The use of technology definitely help calculate and compute the statistical data as you see here. I mainly used Google Sheets for this project.

Statistics has shown me how important and useful it is used for data analysis. Whether you had an idea, hypothesis, or experiment that you want to observe and test!

With the understanding of implicit bias towards certain interests, data can be summarized and analyzed whether there is any slight preferences.

Maybe one day, females won't be teased for owning a truck because it represents masculinity. While, men won't be teased for driving smaller vehicles.
