Online Fitness for Life
Required: 9, 10, 11, 12
Fulfills 1 graduation requirement for Physical Education.
Length of course: One trimester
Fitness for Life is designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and motivation to live physically active lives. Personal fitness, assessing current levels of fitness, and goal setting will be the focus for this course and students will be expected to track activity using a device of their choice. Successful completion of this class (or in-person Fitness for Life) is a prerequisite for Online Personal Fitness
Online Personal Fitness

Personal Fitness is designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and motivation to live physically active lives. Assessing current levels of fitness, goal setting, and creating/implementing personalized fitness plans will be the focus for this course. Activity tracking will be expected using a device of choice.
Online Health
Required: 9, 10, 11, 12
Fulfills 1 graduation requirement for Health.
Length of Course: One trimester
This course will expose students to a wide variety of health-related experiences such as analyzing and recognizing healthful and risky behaviors, demonstrating how to respond to harmful situations, and developing refusal skills. In addition, students will learn how to make informed decisions, promote and develop healthy relationships, set goals, and make healthy food choices. Students will also learn how to identify illegal drugs and identify causes, signs, symptoms, and treatments for common illnesses. Students will meet national and state standards and benchmarks in health education.
