Recess

Our school yard will be divided into 4 zones. Each class will play within their assigned zone. Zones will rotate daily so that each class will have an opportunity to play in a different area of the yard each day.

To better protect the safety of our students, offer opportunities for greater social distancing and to ensure students play within their cohort (class), recesses have been organized by grade level;

Grades 2-6 - Recesses from 11:20-11:40 and from 1:40-2:00

Grades K & 1 - Recesses from 11:40-12:00 and from 2:00-2:20

Playground equipment is not cleaned as per Public Health guidlelines.

Students will line up within their cohort (class) to come back in after recess, 1m apart, on dots at the back of the school.
