Reading Language Arts
9/18 Students have been working on analyzing the development of point of view. Their essential question is: How do readers support their inferences with text evidence?
Students have been tracking their progress in Reading Plus and have a goal of reaching 80% comprehension. They are also working on their Literacy Ticket where they keep track of their progress using the multiple programs.
We took an assessment on The Egypt Game today for Chapters 1-3.
9/7/17 Students worked on signing into all of the online programs: ReadyGen, Reading Plus, Read Theory, and NewsEla. They were also given time to work on their research project Mindset that they started in MN History. 9/11 Students watched and discussed Khan Academy "You Can Learn Anything". Afterwards they read on NewsELA and took a comprehension quiz. Once completed they were to continue on their research project Mindset.
