9/18 Students have turned in their Mindset Projects and TODALSS assignment.

Today we read Ch. 2 The First Minnesotans and are working on answering the essential questions: 1.How has Minnesota changed over the last 12,000 years?, 2. What cultures developed in Minnesota before the year 1700?, 3. How did early people adapt to life in what is now Minnesota?, 4. What tools did they develop?, and 5. How do historians and archaeologists study the past.

Students also gave their input on what they found interesting from the chapter and what they wanted to learn more about in the coming week. They shared their thoughts on a google document on Google Classroom.

9/11 We discussed and read ‘BOATLIFT,’ Honors Untold 9/11 Story Of Mariner Heroes. Students also watched Change Your Mindset and Achieve Anything | Colin O'Brady | TEDxPortland and set an achievable goal in their planner. Every time they achieve their goal they are to write a new one.

9/7/17 Students have been learning about how student success is a matter of mindset. We have read and had a classroom discussion on the following document: You Can Grow Your Intelligence. Students are to research and create a GoogleSlide presentation on Mindset. All the materials that they need are on our Google Classroom sites.
