HOSA Dress Code

HOSA strives to instill and understanding of professional and business dress in it's participants.

Therefore, there are requirements for dress for events. Read below to see what requirements you must meet. If you need financial aid to meet the required dress code, see Ms. Harvey.

Women's HOSA Dress Code

For events requiring the official HOSA Uniform, ladies will be required to have a blue suit, with a skirt that goes to the knees or slacks, and a white blouse under their blazer jacket. The burgundy tie, to be worn with a white button-up dress shirt can be purchased at Awards Unlimited for $16. This is highly recommended, especially if you plan to attend ILC!

Awards Unlimited also has the suits available for purchase, or the more economical option on Amazon, an example can be found here.

Women's Shoes

Ladies will be required to wear black or blue business professional shoes. Due to the amount of walking at HOSA events, I highly advise against wearing tall, thin heals. Here are some examples of some inexpensive options from Payless Shoesource that would work well:

Men's HOSA Dress Code

For events requiring the official HOSA Uniform, men will be required to have a blue suit, with a white button-down dress shirt, and a burgundy tie.

Business suits can be purchased directly from Awards Unlimited or through an option like Amazon or this one from Amazon as well!

Men's Shoes

Black or blue dress shoes are required. Here are some inexpensive examples from Payless Shoesource:
