In addition to our Conduct and Effort Form, our school uses a Caught Being Great ticket system to identify positive behavior throughout the year.

Classroom Information

Homework Policy A copy of our school's homework policy is located in the student H.E.R.O. folder. Students are asked to complete their classwork in a timely fashion. There will be incentives for students completing their homework on a regular basis. Students may be required to finish incomplete work during school time.

Daily Planners and Homework Folders We have a H.E.R.O. folder for taking homework and notes home. The students will be keeping daily assignments, notes, spelling list, and other important papers in the folder. Parents should be checking this folder nightly.

Conduct/Effort Sheets Conduct/effort sheets will be sent home every day. Each Friday, they need to be signed and returned Monday morning.

Independent Reading Students are asked to read at least 20 minutes a night. They are expected to keep a Reading Journal where they write based on a daily prompt.
