The Career Resource Center offers a variety of sessions to help students prepare for life after high school. These sessions cover everything from the college application process to trades and apprenticeships, from military options to financial aid and essay writing. No matter your postsecondary goals, the CRC has a session for you.
Throughout the year, students are invited to attend mini-sessions to learn about topics related high school and post-secondary success. Mini-sessions are held in the Career Resources Center and the slideshows are posted below. Students need to sign up in advance to attend a session. A pass will be sent to the student the morning of the session.
Every month the PC CRC invites local professionals to participate on a panel where they talk with students about their current position, career path, knowledge and skills. Students can sign up to attend by scanning or clicking the QR code. Signing up does not guarantee a student will be invited to attend. Priority will be given to higher grade levels.
Throughout the school, especially in the fall, the CRC hosts visits from many local public and private colleges and universities. To see a list of the College Reps coming to the CRC and sign up, scan or click the QR code. Check the list frequently as college representatives are added all the time.
Throughout the school year, the CRC offers field trips for current students to visit college campuses and local businesses. Students that want to participate on a field trip first sign up to attend. IMPORTANT: this does not guarantee a spot on the field trip. Students that signed up will receive a permission slip that MUST be signed by ALL their teachers and a parent or guardian. Spots on the field trip are filled as students turn in the completed field trip form. All field trips are posted on the PC CRC Calendar, along with the link to sign up. Check the PC calendar and sign-up form frequently as field trips are added throughout the year.
