The ACT test comprises four subject areas: English, reading, mathematics, science and an optional writing test. The ACT assessment helps colleges determine how well students are prepared for college. Colleges use the ACT scores for student admissions, advising, and placement. Minnesota's state universities generally require a composite score of 21 or higher for admission. The highest possible ACT score is 36. Nationally 60 percent of U.S. graduating class took the ACT test.
More information about ACT testing in MN can be found on the MN Office of Higher Education website.

The PC CRC offers ACT Test Prep Sessions for juniors to prepare and practice for the ACT spring exam. The ACT Test Prep Sessions are listed on the PC CRC Calendar. All sessions are after school and will be held virtually using Google Meet. Because this is a virtual format, students do NOT need to sign up to attend. All sessions will be recorded and linked in the PC CRC Calendar for students that are not able to attend. Below are more online resources to help students prepare for the ACT.
Please contact the Testing Coordinator or Park Center Administration with questions about ACT Testing at Park Center.
