Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) is a program that allows primarily juniors and seniors to earn both high school and college credit while still in high school, through enrollment in and successful completion of college-level, nonsectarian courses at eligible participating postsecondary institutions. Most PSEO courses are offered on the campus of the postsecondary institution; some courses are offered online. Each participating college or university sets its own requirements for enrollment into the PSEO courses. Eleventh and 12th-grade students may take PSEO courses on a full- or part-time basis; 10th graders are eligible to enroll in PSEO on a more limited basis.

An information session was held in late January. If you missed the live information sessions, please review the video here and complete the embedded attendance form. Reviewing the presentation in its entirety is required, as we cover PSEO application basics including reviewing the timeline and application process. You should then review the application checklist below.
Current PSEO students do not need to review the informational video.
Counselors will start seeing students for PSEO the week of February 16th. If you feel you have completed all of the required steps on the checklist below (applications are complete, all documents are signed), you can click on the link to the right to make an appointment with your assigned MGSH counselor. Counselors are assigned by student last name.
We look forward to meeting with you!

Complete the normal MGSH registration process, picking 18 MGSH courses for next year. These will be adjusted later as needed.
February - March:
Complete the Notice of Student Registration (NOSR) –also called “the State Form” or the “3-part form”.
Complete the PSEO Agreement.
Make an appointment to meet with your School Counselor here: Bring completed (signed) forms.
Follow the directions from your college to submit the NOSR and your transcript. This may mean you upload the documents to a portal.
March – August:
Students that have been accepted to the PSEO program, take placement exams (if applicable), attend orientation at the college and register for college classes for fall term. Students should send a copy of their college schedule to their MGSH counselor as soon as they complete registration at the college.
May 30:
Firm deadline to notify your counselor of your intent to participate for fall term.
August:
Meet with your MGSH school counselor to review your finalized PSEO schedule and make any necessary schedule adjustments. If you are a part-time student, keep in mind the MGSH Daily Schedule when you are choosing your course selections.
October:
Meet with your MGSH School Counselor to plan your second semester courses. You will need to complete a new NOSR at that time.
Oct 30:
Firm deadline to notify your counselor of your intent to participate for spring term. Spring term only enrollments can be tricky, as many core classes at MGSH are full year courses. Early communication with your school counselor is recommended for successful spring term enrollment.
