Can you Cantilever?

Can you engineer a cantilever? What's the longest cantilever that you can build with 21 Dominoes?

LEGO Boat Challenge

Students of all ages were invited to engineer a LEGO boat that they thought could float. Our kindergarteners tested all of the inventions and these could really float for at least 10 seconds before touching the bottom of the "lake". Way to go engineers!!

Pollinator Hunt

Question: Can we find evidence that our pollinator garden is a success? What would evidence look like?

Answer: Our garden is a success, but it could be better. The plants that survived have attracted pollinators.

Next Step: Add more of the plants that grew well in our soil and attracted pollinators.

Our Action: We harvested seeds from the seedheads of flowering plants that were a success in our garden. Then we planted those seed in our garden. In the spring we will watch to see if they sprout and grow.
