I am so excited to enroll Red Pine students in Artsonia this year. This is a fantastic online portfolio that will follow your student in art class this year and beyond. Artsonia's main purpose is for artists to share their artwork in an online portfolio with friends and families. You can discover what your artist is learning about and doing in the art room, while sharing their amazing creations with their "fan club." Another great perk about Artsonia is that all your student's artwork (in digital form) can be purchased on many different products that are shipped directly to you. If you choose to buy something, part of the purchase goes right back to RP, directly helping fund supplies in the art room! You do not need to use this part of Artsonia, the online gallery is free. However, if you are interested these products make fabulous gifts and you can browse products in the "giftshop" tab of Artsonia.
Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions about Artsonia!
My name is Anna Amacher /Mrs. Amacher!
I am thrilled to be teaching art K-5 at Red Pine Elementary.
This is my 4th year teaching elementary art and it is my dream job!
I aspire to teach all students about various artists, art history, and introduce them to a variety of art mediums. We use the MN Visual Arts Standards to guide our instruction and focus on the elements and principles of visual art.
This year I will see students on a 4 or 5 day rotation.
For online learning we are using seesaw for grades k-3, and schoology for grades 4 and 5.
I am looking forward to meeting RP students.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
