Have you ever been to a family reunion? Maybe it was a chance to see lots of cousins and other family you don't get to see very often? Maybe it was a chance to travel to a place that is special for your family history? Maybe it was a chance to eat lot of delicious food including recipes that have been passed down through the generations?

In our story, Lil Alan can't wait to see his great-grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is so excited until he decides that he doesn't have anything to share at the anniversary celebration for Granny. Will he figure out a way to honor Great-Grandma Granny? He sure does! And Great-Grandma Granny is so proud!!

Even though this story is fiction- which is made up from the author's imagination- it had some cool facts that can help us understand sharks.
We have so many nonfiction books about sharks in our library to help us learn and understand about real sharks!
