Thank you to those students who navigated to Google Classroom!!!

I am going to post an assignment on the classwork page. Some fun little puzzles!

Then, I would like to see you play the two games above.

Some of you have played them before, and know how they work... but make sure you take note of what happens! How fast they move, when you should click, etc... next week, you are going to be assigned to create your own!!!

May 8, 2020 -

This week, I would first like to see you log into your google account from home.

Remember, your username is lunchnumber@apps.brsd.org

your password is Raiders123

***You may want to have your computer 'save' your username and password for future use***

Link for Google just in case: GOOGLE (have you been checking out the games when you click the Google logo?... Today is PACMAN)

Then, in the top right corner click sign in and try and sign in.

Once you've sign in, click on the nine little grey squares and look for CLASSROOM.

Then, next to the 9 squares should be a + sign to join a class.

Type in : fmsbqzh

This is going to take you to my 3rd Grade at home classroom.

Starting next week, I will add an assignment to there so you can try it out!

**Once I have seen that you have joined my classroom, you get your participation points for the week!**

In the mean time, work on those google games, or everyone's favorite, DANCE MAT TYPING!! :-)

While you are home:

Please continue to work on your typing skills.

Maybe go back to lesson 1 and start from there and make it all the way through the lessons.

I have added levels 10-12 to finish it out!

I have also added some coding activities to try above.

Remember, you can also go to the STEM page for 3rd grade and do the activities on there as well!

**On the Minecraft one, start with Minecraft Adventurer, then go to Designer and then Aquatic!

Week 15 -

We are going to begin with Type to Learn.

Then, we are going to begin learning about Internet Searching.

We are going to start with a quick internet search about Valentine's Day.

We are going to continue to keep learning how to type with Dance Mat Typing.

We are going to work on project using Google Drive and Publisher.

Week 6 -

Today, we are going to start with Dance Mat Typing.

We are going to learn how to place our fingers on the HOME ROW KEYS.

Once you finish the first lesson, you can play on the Halloween Games above.

Week 5 -

Today, we are going to make our 'laptops'.

When done, you are going to complete the keyboard above.

Week 4 -

Today, we are going to play KAHOOT!

Week 3 -

Students should be finishing up the FBI site.

Those students that have passed the test with an 80% or better can play on HERE.

If not, you have to redo the levels and retake the test.

Week 2 -

Today, we are going to continue doing the FBI Site.

Week 1 -

Welcome back!

Today, we are going to assign seats and review the rules of computer class.

Go over what we will be doing for this half and then next half of the year.

Then, we are going to practice logging into Google.

Next, we are going to start the year off by going over Internet Safety.

This year, we are going to be using the FBI's website.

We will work through the levels to complete the site.
