This week, we are going to practice learning more about where the letters are on the keyboard!!

One goal is to try and use BOTH hands to type.

Left side, left hand... right side, right hand!!!

May 8, 2020 -

This week, just for fun, I want to see if you can find something in your house that had ALL the letters of the alphabet. (if you don't have them, you can make them with paper and cut them out!)

Then, arrange the letters so they are a computer keyboard! (Remember, the keyboard letters are NOT in order!)

Take a photo and send it to me on Dojo!!!

Let's see how creative you can be!!! I have a surprise in store!!!

Today, we will learn to open our file.

Then, we will do letters A and B in the Adventures in Keyboarding book.

Today, we are going to download our Adventures in Keyboarding book.

Then, we are going to type our first and last names and learn to save it in our Documents.

Then, you can play on Curious George's Busy Day.

Week 3 -

Today, we are going to review the important keys on the keyboard.

Then, we are going to practice typing our names on Microsoft Word.

Week 2 -

Today, we are going to review the rules, parts of the computer and our internet safety video.

Then, we are going to review how to log onto our computers.

Then, play the mouse games below.

Week 1 -

Go over the classroom rules and what we will be doing this year.

Assign Seats

Go over basic computer parts.

Explain headphones and using the mouse.

Introduce Internet Safety.

Watch Router's Birthday Surprise on NetSmartz.

Discuss Internet Safety.
