This is the screen you will see when you open the Chromebook. You will see a message about the Chromebook being managed by the school district. Log in with your user ID (@apps.anderson1.org is already entered. ) and your district password.

Please don't eat or drink near your device.
Keep the keyboard clear of items like pens/pencils.
Keep your Chromebook charged.
Restart your Chromebook periodically to let it run updates.
Do not place stickers on your Chromebook.
Do not remove the assest tag or bar code label from your Chromebook or charger.
If you have any technical problems with the device, please submit a Chromebook ticket.

Restart your Chromebook so that it runs updates
Clear your cache:
Click on the three vertical dots on the top right of the browser toolbar to open the Chrome menu
Click on More tools
Clear Browsing Data
Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
Click on Clear browsing data. The Chromebook cache and cookies and now deleted.

Classlink Launchpad
Classlink Launchpad
ClassLink LaunchPad is your one-stop login for school apps and programs. Sign in with your district username and password. You’ll have instant access to everything you need—like Google products, Gmail, textbooks, and district-purchased programs.
When you open Chrome, Launchpad will be the first tab that opens. You can also get to the Launchpad by clicking the house icon next to the web address.
You will sign in with your district username and password.
(Do not use your entire email address)
This is the student Launchpad. Here you will find links to your textbooks and district purchased programs. All Google products, inlcuding Gmail, are located in the Google Folder.

You’ll use Google tools—like Google Docs, Slides, Drive, Gmail and Classroom—almost every day for schoolwork, projects, and sharing with teachers.
There are two easy ways to get to them:
Through ClassLink LaunchPad: Once you sign in, click on the Google Folder and then choose app you need, and you're in—no extra logins required!
Using Google Chrome: Open the Chrome browser, click the Google Apps "waffle" icon (a grid of 9 dots) in the top-right corner, and choose the tool you want.

To the bottom of the left panel, select About Chrome OS
Under "Google Chrome OS," it lists which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses
Click Check for Update
If your Chromebook finds a software update, it starts to download automatically
The Chromebook will ask you to restart your computer to finish the update process
