Bell rings and vibrant halls. We’ve seen it all. However, we cannot fully grasp the feeling of the night before the first day of school.

On August 22, 2024, APEC School - Bacoor reopened its doors to welcome students with big dreams and bright futures ahead of them. The halls went vibrant with laughter and glee while the rooms were heating up, anticipating the coming of the very students it would shelter in the next nine months.

Just like every year in APEC School starts, the students are guided into their assigned rooms as the excitement grows with every step they take. Once seated, the real fun of it all begins - Orientation Week.

During the first hours of the well-anticipated reopening, the learning facilitators take their time to meet and learn from their new advisory classes as both sides slowly adjust to the learning environment. Then, the learning facilitators discussed APEC School’s handbook, an innovative way of emphasizing the importance of collaboration, leadership, and public speaking. As the school's tagline suggests, this aims to help the students improve each day.

Envisioning a new chapter, learning facilitators also introduced various state-of-the-art organizations and clubs such as the Student Council, the highest governing school organization, Amplify, the Student Publication of APEC Schools, Sports Club, E-games Club, Performing Arts Club, Peer Facilitators, and the newly huddled Debate Team. This also aligns with APEC School’s core values, as collaboration is team building and, therefore, also a foundation for holistic development.

Nearing the end, learning facilitators introduced the school’s first event, Araw ng Wika. During this time, sections were huddled together into their first step to collaboration mode as they were tasked to devise strategic ways to show adoration and appreciation for their language.
