Founding Excellence: Celebrating Another Year Of Legacy in APEC Schools

Another year has arrived, and anticipation comes to a halt as APEC Schools Bacoor Branch celebrates its Foundation Day on a sunny Thursday, September 26.

The festivals kick off with clubs with various skills and talents setting up their colorful displays and festive booths filled with engaging activities in the school’s parking lot, transforming the school grounds into a marketplace of creativity and fun. Various banners and decorations reflected the innovative themes of each club, reflecting a sense of invitation for students and learning facilitators from all grade levels to join in the celebration.

Among the bustling booths, clubs like Amplify Club and Arts Club turned up with various handcrafted offers. Amplify stood out with beaded trinkets such as phone charms, charm bracelets, stickers that reflect each club’s theme, and the ever-so-famous Sonny Angel-inspired stickers dressed up in APEC School’s ocean-colored uniforms. These handcrafted items not only served their sentimental value to everyone who hopped into the celebration, it also fostered a sense of entrepreneurship in students, teaching new values and redirecting it into the core of everyone behind the desks.

Meanwhile, treble and bass lines were heard from in and out of the school grounds as performers from the Performing Arts Club strut their stuff and shred their guitar solos as they take the waves by storm with their booth: Aerowaves FM. This mini-concert reflects an engaging showcase that provides a platform for creative expression, inviting students to experience the musical talents of their peers.

While stickers were sold and songs were sung, clubs like Sports Club and E-Games Club transformed part of the school’s parking lot into an exciting arcade filled with fun and physical activities. With their colorful banners, they attract many students to join them as they shoot rings into bottles, knock down towers of tin cans, and shoot mini balls into hoops to win exciting prizes, ensuring that students from all grade levels would enjoy the event.

To complete the feeling of festivity, the Debate Club set up their peaceful corner, inviting students to engage in thoughtful discussions on various topics. This club stood out as they set up their banners, inviting students to join in healthy discussions of controversial topics, as they set up a safe space for thoughts to be heard and opinions to be filled. This initiative highlighted the importance of communication skills and fostered a sense of community among students, allowing them to learn from one another in a supportive environment.

APEC Bacoor's foundation day is a fulfilling day for every participant, showcasing creativity, fostering a sense of community, and building friendships along the way. With the presence of colorful banners and inviting booths highlighting the founding year of NTC-APEC Schools, not only was it a successful way to commemorate the school's achievements, but also paved the way for strengthening bonds and building trust within each other.
