Teen Resource Available!
AOS98 currently provides 1:1 technology for learners:
BRES uses iPad devices for students preK - 8
BRHS uses Chromebooks for students grades 9-12
Edgecomb uses iPads
Georgetown uses Chromebooks
Southport uses Apple products
Students should make themselves aware that their school has an Acceptable Use Policy. If students take a school-owned device home they must sign a form indicating that they have read and understand the Acceptable Use Policy. Please visit the Policies page to find the school specific policy statements.
The Self Service app on all Apple iPads is where any paid app or subscription based service, sponsored by the school, can be found.
Use of Google Apps for Education (also known as GSuite for Education)
AOS98 schools provide all users with a Google account for email, access to Drive, and use of the accompanying Google apps such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and more, including virtually unlimited cloud storage space.
BRHS Acceptable Use Policy and Repair Options
Each school year, students, in grades 9-12, are expected to sign a Chromebook inventory form that includes the repair options and associated costs for breaks, loss or theft of their assigned Chromebooks.
