So I heard you've been wanting to polish your maps. Yes? Well then here is the correct place to be then. Even if you don't have interest you can still stay here to GET interest. Anyway lets begin.
Polishing maps needs a lot of work and most Gimkit players do it wrong. How do I as a Gimkit player know? Well I don't do those mistakes quite often but I know since I played most of the popular Creative Maps. I will teach you step by step to polishing your map
First Step identify what you want your map to be. Battle royal? Sandbox? PvP? anykind. Now go to options down at the bottom left and click it. A bunch of options will appear like Map options where you can edit health of players backround and teams and Editing options to make you run faster or run through walls in editing mode for mostly convenience. And, Publishing publish your map and others that you can find out.
Options tab
Second Step Layers, layers are UNDERATED like seriously I have times where for example a prop like Broken glass wouldn't go on top of the lab table so use layers sure it's a bit messy in the begining but it's worth it.
Layers help props fit together
Step Three Testing the Map, testing your map is super important most players do but some players don't it's important to find bugs like you opened a hole in the wall by not covering it up and more.
Play testing fun and nice for polishing win win
Step Four is the most Important step, Doing this over and over to polish the map entirely. It's worth your time and effort especially if you want a top map by the community.
