College Counseling

I have 15 years of teaching experience, a Master’s Degree in Education, and a Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA Extension. I work one-on-one with students to focus on what they need most, such as creating a strong resume, building a balanced college list, reflecting on personality assessments, or editing essays and supplements. My goal is to make the college process less stressful and more meaningful, helping each student feel confident and excited about the opportunities ahead.

I bring 20 years of experience as a writing coach following a career in public relations for a major financial services company in the US. This is my 16th year at ANS having taught 8th and 9th grade honors English, 10th, 11th and 12th grade English, and AP Language and Composition. My speciality is college application writing, and I enjoy working with students of all ages in engaging lessons and coaching writers to reach their goals. I hold a Master’s degree in Education, a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, and am a certified teacher in the United States.
