All Anna ISD students, PK-12th grade will utilize the Learning Management System, Schoology (pronounced: Skool’uh-jee) for all online learning. Schoology will also serve as the system for collecting evidence of student learning and archiving student academic records.
All campuses will use Schoology as the primary means of two-way communication to enhance communication with parents and students. The primary intent of this tool is for quick two-way communication with parents and students.
For more information, visit the Schoology for Anna ISD Parents website!
Each campus will distribute Chromebooks to check out for students in 6th-12th grade for both in-school and homework use. Students who take their device home are expected to bring their charged Chromebook or personal laptop to and from school every day. Students will receive the Anna ISD Chromebook Checkout Agreement to complete at Coyote Crossing and/or with online registration paperwork and will return or submit the completed agreement by the first day of school to check out the device. Students are able to use their own personal device. EVERY student who checks out a district-owned device must complete the Anna ISD Chromebook Checkout Agreement. Students in PK-5 will have access to devices in their classroom via device carts. In the event a PK-5 student would need to be quarantined, there are devices to check out for at-home use to allow for the continuation of instruction. Please check with your campus administrator for assistance.
