Check-in with the teacher to address questions and needed support through e-mail
Parent /Guardian must submit a doctor's note for a confirmed COVID diagnosis and/or a parent note to excuse their absences.
Require sick students and staff to stay home.
No perfect attendance awards.
Work with campus attendance clerks to assist families with attendance issues.
After two consecutive absences the attendance clerks will contact parents/guardians.
Weekly attendance letters are to be sent home.
Once a level two letter (5 unexcused absences) has been created for students, campus administrator contacts parents/guardians.
Timely Attendance Review Committee Meetings conducted.
The minimum attendance for class credit rule of TEC, §25.092, will be in effect for the 2021–2022 school year. Students are required to attend at least 90% of their classes (with some exceptions) to receive credit and be promoted.
