All helpdesk tickets that originate from staff members are first directed to the campus technicians. Campus Technicians are able to field the vast majority of requests, but they can also forward the requests to any other technology or instructional technology staff member, as appropriate.
In general, helpdesk requests are monitored more frequently than email by all technology and instructional technology staff. Unlike email, there’s little chance of a helpdesk request getting ‘missed’ or ‘buried’ amidst other communications.
To help us help you as efficiently as possible, please utilize helpdesk for all technology-related requests, no matter how large or small the request is.
For major emergencies or requests on short notice, utilize Helpdesk first and then follow up with the appropriate staff member by phone. See page 2 for contact information.
