IP Phone*The items above are assigned to the classroom, not the teachers -- teachers should not move these items when changing rooms without first consulting helpdesk.

HDMI cable (to connect either laptop to the TV)*The items above are checked out in the teachers’ names, and may travel with the teacher. Teachers are allowed to take these items home for evenings, weekends, and the summer.

Lost/Stolen/Damaged Equipment

All teachers have signed the AISD Technology Equipment Agreement, which states that teachers are to pay for loss resulting from negligence. In cases of theft, teachers must file a police report before Technology will replace the item. Although these cases are rare, we will ask the principals help enforce these rules through teacher evaluations and classroom budget allowances when appropriate.

*Please remember to turn off your TV when not in use or at the end of the school day. Your Chromebook will need to be shut down at the end of the day as well so that it will not get hung up and can run any appropriate updates.

If you have damaged teacher or classroom equipment, please put your request for repair on Helpdesk immediately.

Classroom Phone and Voice Mail

Each teacher has an internal extension and external voicemail phone number. Classroom phones can not be called directly from the outside. Only district IP phones can call the internal extension directly. Outside calls can be transferred to the internal extension by the receptionist if necessary. Each teacher is provided a direct-to-voicemail number which will email voice messages to the teacher. (See your campus secretary for your extension information).
